Online Review: The wine label describes this wine as "Winemaker Michel Chapoutier is the seventh generation family member to lead Maison Chapoutier, first established in France in 1808. Michel has selected Victorian vineyards for their superior characteristics. Mathilda is named after both an Australian icon and Michel Chapoutier's daughter Mathilde"
My Review: This wine was very fresh smelling to me. When I tasted it, it was very bitter and was also very floral tasting. It burned a little as I drank it and also tasted slightly acidic. This was my first time tasting a Viognier, and I determined that it wasn't my favorite.
